Client Account Specialist; AR​/Collections - Legal Industry

Overview

Client Account Specialist (AR/Collections - Legal Industry Required). Remote (EST/CST) with standard business hours. Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr.

Vaco by Highspring in partnership with a prestigious national client in the legal industry. This role focuses on accounts receivable, billing, and collections with a commitment to precision and professionalism.

• Review aged accounts receivable (A/R) in MS Excel and communicate with billing attorneys, specialists, and clients to ensure timely collections.
• Proactively manage problematic A/R and collaborate with the collections team to resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain and update the collections database with accurate status reports.
• Create clear, concise spreadsheets detailing billing, payments, and outstanding invoices to support collection efforts.
• Assist the billing department with special projects and tasks assigned by the Billing & Collections management team

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm handling both billing and collections (required)
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and formulas within AR aging reports (required)
• Experience with collections software (required)
• Familiarity with Aderant (preferred)
• Ability to work EST/CST Standard Business Hours (required)

Base pay range: $70,000-$80,000/year + Benefits. The individual may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
