ROLE

The Controllerisresponsibleforleadingtheaccounting,financial planning&analysis,andrelatedfunctions;overseeingthepreparationoffinancialstatements,forecasts,and reports;developinginternalcontrols;supportingmanagementinthepreparationoftheannualbudgetandanalysisofbusinessresults;andsupportingtheannualauditof

Player&Co'sconsolidatedfinancialstatements.

Experiencewithinthe Constructionservicesindustryispreferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Leadanddirectaccounting,billing,accounts receivable,payables,andreportingfunctions.
• Prepare monthly,quarterly,annualfinancialstatements(income statement,balance sheet,
• statementofcashflows),reportsanddisclosuresusingERPatthe Corporate level
• Ownthejobcostaccountingcycleendtoend,includingjobsetup,costcodingstructure,laborandequipmentburdenrates,committedcosttracking,andcost-to-completedisciplineacrossallactiveprojects.
• Partner with Project Manager sand Operationstoreviewjobcostdetailmonthly ,validateestimatestocomplete,andchallengetheassumptionsthatdriveprojectmargin.
• Prepare,review,andanalyzethemonthly
  
  Workin
  
  Process(WIP) schedule,includingearnedrevenue,over-andunder-billings(contractassetsandcontractliabilities),andestimatedgrossprofitbyjob;reconciletheWIPscheduletothegeneralledgerandfinancialstatementseachperiod.
• Identifyandexplainmarginfadeorgain,changesinestimates,andunapprovedorpendingchangeorderexposure;escalate at-riskjobstomanagementwithsupportinganalysis.
• EnsurerevenueisrecognizedinaccordancewithASC
  606,applyingthepercentage-of-completion(cost-to-costinput) methodand,whereapplicable,point-in-timerecognitionfortime-and-materialandunit-pricework;evaluateperformanceobligations,variable consideration(incentives,liquidateddamagesandclaims),contractmodificationsandchangeorders,andlossjobreserves;documentconclusionsandmaintainthesupportingtechnicalmemorandaandcontrols.
• ProvideWIPschedules,jobcostsupport,andrelatedschedulestoexternalauditors,sureties,and lenders.
• Developinternalcontrolpolicies,guidelines,andproceduresforallactivitieswithinscopeofresponsibility.
• Provideguidancetotheaccountingteamandensuretheteamexecutesallfunctionsinaccordancewithcompanystandards,GAAP,andapplicablelaws.
• Reviewandvalidatebankreconciliations,resolvingdiscrepanciestoensuretheadjustedbankbalancetiespreciselytothegeneralledger.
• Coordinateandexecuteannualauditofthecompany’sfinancialstatements.
• Ensuremanagementreportingalignswithoverallstrategyandthatqualityinformationisavailabletohelpmanagementmakekeydecisions.
• Leadeffortstostreamlinefinancialprocessesandreporting.
• Workwithcompanymanagementonpreparingtheannualbudget.
• Overseethe month-end,quarter-end,andyear-endcloseprocessesandreviewfinancialresults,balancesheetreconciliations,andjournalentriesforcompliancewithU.S.GAAP.
• Overseecompliancewith Federal,State,and Localtaxrequirements.
• Conductallbusinessactivitiesinaccordancewith3E,LLCpoliciesandprocedures,Core Values,andallapplicablelegalrequirements.
