State Tax Manager

  HANA and Vertex implementations

• 6+ years of state and local or indirect tax experience with strong sales & use tax knowledge
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred
• Multi-state experience with property tax and unclaimed property exposure preferred
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA and Vertex experience are strong pluses

• Own indirect tax with a primary focus on sales & use tax, property tax, and unclaimed property
• Manage outside tax providers and review outsourced filings and deliverables for accuracy and completeness
• Oversee multi-state tax reporting, reconciliations, payments, notices, audits, nexus, and registration requirements
• Support state income tax matters, M&A due diligence, and post-acquisition integration as needed
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting and other business teams on state tax matters and ERP tax coding
• Identify process improvements and technology solutions to strengthen controls and improve the tax function
