** Role Summary  The Accounting Manager
** will play a critical role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial recordkeeping, reporting, and accounting processes across multiple entities and business initiatives. This position will support leadership by ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting operations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive accounting professional with strong bookkeeping expertise, experience in multi-entity environments, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

** Key Responsibilities
*** Maintain complete and accurate accounting records across multiple entities and business activities
* Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and reconciliations
* Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
* Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
* Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and balance sheet accounts
* Maintain intercompany transactions and due-to/due-from schedules
* Support accounting system administration, optimization, reporting, and data integrity initiatives
* Track project costs, budgets, reimbursements, and financial activity
* Maintain accounting records for investor-related entities, funds, and capital activity
* Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, banks, attorneys, and service providers
* Support audit, tax, lender, and compliance reporting requirements
* Develop and improve accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls
** Key Requirements
*** 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations experience
* Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting processes
* Strong experience with Net Suite or comparable ERP/accounting platforms
* Experience supporting multiple entities, business units, projects, or reporting structures
* Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and financial reporting
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including reconciliations, reporting schedules, formulas, and variance analysis
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
* Ability to manage large volumes of financial information with accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

* Fund accounting or partnership accounting experience
* Net Suite implementation, administration, or optimization experience
* Experience with in professional services, financial services, consulting, real estate, investment management, banking, or similar environments

* Experience coordinating with auditors, tax professionals, lenders, attorneys, and external stakeholders
