We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support accounting operations for a real estate property and facilities management organization in Atlanta, Georgia. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a self-directed, detail-oriented individual who can manage day-to-day financial activities with accuracy, sound judgment, and minimal supervision. The position requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to clearly interpret financial results, and hands-on expertise with Quick Books in an on-site environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring transactions are properly recorded from start to finish.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, payment tracking, collections follow-up, and account maintenance.
• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to confirm balances, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting summaries that help leadership understand performance, cash flow, and account activity.
• Maintain the general ledger and review entries for completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal accounting practices.
• Work independently to prioritize deadlines, organize accounting workflows, and deliver reliable results with limited day-to-day oversight.
• Communicate financial findings clearly, translating numerical data into practical explanations for stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Support onboarding into the role and coordinate with the team regarding tools or equipment needed to begin work effectively.
