Accounting and Payroll Bookkeeper

We are seeking a German-speaking Bookkeeper/Accountant for our Business Processing Outsourcing Department in Atlanta.

• Consult clients and their parent companies on accounting, business administration, and taxation
• Prepare financial statements (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
• File sales and use tax returns, personal property tax returns, and other forms
• Process payroll
• Communicate project statuses timely within the team

• Associate Degree in Accounting or higher, or German Steuerfachangestellte(r)
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
• Proficiency in German language
• Basic understanding of US tax system
• Independent work ethic within an administrative framework
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and Adobe
• Discretion handling confidential information
• Experience with Peachtree and SAP
