We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support and ensure smooth office operations. This part-time position (30 hours per week) plays a key role in maintaining compliance with company procedures, supporting staff with reporting, and managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a medical background
, as they will be responsible for reviewing medical questionnaires in addition to standard administrative tasks.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment in alignment with company safety standards.
Process, track, and coordinate the completion of staff timesheets and procurement card reports
.Ensure adherence to Southern Company administrative, accounting, and compliance procedures
.Perform various administrative office duties
, including maintaining office supplies and managing inventories.Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for team members and leadership.
Support office relocations
, ensuring all logistics and communication are managed efficiently.Create, organize, and track project correspondence, records, and documentation
.Provide general support and perform miscellaneous assignments as directed.
Review and verify medical questionnaires accurately and confidentially, maintaining compliance with medical privacy standards.
Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative support experience
.Medical background is essential — experience reviewing or managing medical documentation preferred.
Prior experience within the energy, construction, or utilities industry is a plus.
Technical
Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with
data entry, document tracking, and reporting systems
