General Description:

The Office of Administration is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services that ensure the efficient and effective operation of the organization. Our department oversees various administrative functions, including training coordination, budget management, and operational planning. We strive to promote professionalism, organization, and continuous learning within the workplace.

As an intern in the Office of Administration, you will assist the Training Supervisors in preparing and executing training courses. This includes creating presentations, drafting email notifications, developing handouts, organizing classroom setups, and supporting the overall logistics of training sessions. You will also gain valuable insight into the budget process, including how to process requests for conferences and training sessions, manage payment inquiries, and track paid invoices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Division of Administration:

Responsibilities:

May perform other duties as assigned.

* Assist Training Supervisors with the preparation and delivery of training courses and workshops.

* Help create and organize training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and email communications.

* Support classroom setup and logistics for in-person and virtual training sessions.

* Maintain attendance records and assist with tracking training participation.

* Learn and assist with the department's budgeting process, including reviewing requests for conferences and training sessions.

* Help process payment inquiries and track paid invoices in accordance with established procedures.

* Draft, proofread, and send professional correspondence under supervision.

* Attend team meetings and provide administrative support as needed.

* Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct.

* Manage time effectively and pay close attention to detail when completing assignments.

* Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Office of Administration.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

* Communication Skills

* Problem-solving skills

* Knowledge & ability to utilize Microsoft Suit (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Minimum Qualifications:

* Must be eighteen years of age or older

* Must be authorized to work in the United States of America

* Must be a sophomore or above college student at application submission

* Minimum overall GPA 3.0

* Must attach College Transcript - Unofficial IS acceptable (NO screenshots)

* Currently pursuing a bachelors, associates or above from an accredited college or university.

* Must have at least one remaining semester at the start of the internship

* Must attach Resume (NO screenshots)

* Preferred Major:
Education or Business Administration
