Legal Assistant​/Paralegal

Our legal practice is continuing to grow, and we’re currently seeking a hybrid Legal Assistant/Paralegal to work out of our Atlanta
office for our St. Simons office
. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to be proactive and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this role. This position will require some billable time entry.

• Drafting non-party discovery requests to medical providers and employers
• Following up on non-party requests to ensure responses are timely received and invoices are paid
• Drafting pleadings and written discovery templates
• Occasionally e-file pleadings and motions
• Occasionally perform fact investigations
• Operating office equipment including printers, copiers, and fax machines
• Compiling, maintaining and updating records

• Prior legal experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite and web-based applications
