The part-time legal assistant role in Atlanta requires support for litigation and insurance coverage teams from 5pm to 9pm EST, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate must possess over 10 years of insurance coverage experience in a law firm, with a preference for those familiar with litigation. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to attorneys and teams, proofreading and formatting legal documents, preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and exhibits, and managing document productions such as encrypting media and logging Bates numbers.

The role involves handling conflicts checks, opening new matters using InTapp Open, and managing attorney calendars. Additional duties include coordinating travel, depositions, mediations, and meetings, as well as processing expense reports and client invoices, and supporting collections. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be highly detail-oriented, and excel in grammar and proofreading. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and handling State and Federal eFilings is essential.

Experience with iManage or similar document management systems and advanced PDF programs like Adobe or Nuance/Kofax is required. The position demands a highly motivated individual capable of multitasking independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills.
