Records Management Assistant

We are seeking a Records Management Assistant to support the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at the Atlanta Human and Animal Food Laboratory (ATHAFL) in Atlanta, GA. Your scope of work will include supporting FDA laboratory operations through administrative, document management, records management, and related support services. This is a full-time opportunity in which we'll provide competitive pay, job stability, and security.

Required Background
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be proficient with Adobe tools, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Web Ex
Preferred Background
  • Administrative support experience
  • Records management, document management, or document control experience
  • Scanning, filing, indexing, or data entry experience
  • Experience maintaining records, logs, inventories, or tracking spreadsheets
  • Experience supporting federal, laboratory, healthcare, records, or regulated office environments

Location:

Lakewood, CO 80225

Travel:
Local travel may be required to move or retrieve records from designated onsite or offsite storage locations

Work Hours:

Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week

Telework: N/A

Clearance: U.S. citizenship required as it supports the U.S. federal government

Other Considerations. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual's primary workstation is located in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 100% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc.

Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 100% of the time.
