As an Admission Coordinator, you will guide college student applications through the admittance process, from initial inquiry to first day of class.
Typical weekly tasks include:
- Opening and closing the Site daily during hours of operations.
- Managing front desk reception and overall facility needs (keys, FOBs, equipment maintenance, site maintenance).
- Processing all office mail.
- Managing Student and Staff badge/.
- Inventory and ordering of office and nursing supplies.
- Primary contact for property management.
- Overseeing office technology and equipment (staff computers and Chromebooks).
- Reconciling P‑Card and procurement.
- Managing operational calendar (PTO, Exams, Events, Room Scheduling).
- Conducting site tours and assisting in planning and executing on‑site events.
- Maintaining computer testing rooms (prepare and take down Chromebooks for testing).
- Proctoring on‑site exams following outlined processes and procedures for exam delivery.
- Validating appropriate identification as necessary for admission to exam.
- Overseeing and scheduling Exam Proctors ensuring policy and procedures are followed.
- Associate Degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative capacity for a large department or function.
- Experience in a higher education environment strongly preferred.
