Administrative Assistant – Medical Review Support

The Administrative Coordinator – Medical Review Support is responsible for providing administrative and compliance support while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role supports timesheet processing, procurement reporting, office coordination, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
A medical background is required
, as the individual will be responsible for reviewing and processing medical questionnaires in accordance with company standards and confidentiality requirements.
Workplace Safety & Compliance
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure adherence to applicable Southern Company administrative, accounting, and compliance procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality of medical and employee records
- Process, track, and coordinate completion of:
- Staff timesheets
- Procurement card (P-card) reports
- Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate ordering
- Coordinate meetings, events, and office logistics
- Manage travel arrangements
- Assist with office relocations when required
- Create and track project correspondence
- Perform additional administrative assignments as directed
- Review and process medical questionnaires
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with established policies
- Maintain secure handling of sensitive medical information
- Medical background required (e.g., nursing, medical administration, healthcare support, or related field)
- Experience reviewing medical documentation or questionnaires
- Strong knowledge of administrative and accounting procedures
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a regulated or corporate environment
- Experience with timekeeping and expense systems
- Knowledge of compliance and audit processes
