Regional Operations Manager
This full-time, non-exempt position is responsible for the support of special events and mission activities, as well as general operational support, of an assigned region, and reports to the Region Vice President.
Job Responsibilities1. Development Support:
Provides logistical and administrative support to fundraising initiatives within the assigned region to help achieve development goals. Pulls reports, updates websites, enters auction items, tracks revenue/expenses, assists with constituent communication, and generally supports Executive Directors, Associate Directors and the Region Vice President.
2. Administrative Support:
Provides administrative support – invoice submissions and tracking, reporting, data entry, etc. – as assigned and/or needed. Ensures that all administrative support – scheduling, ordering materials and supplies, submitting invoices, record-keeping, reporting, etc. – is handled in an accurate and timely fashion. Serves as the regional liaison to centralized operations and accounting and follows policies and procedures. Learn systems/software needed as needed.
3. Customer Service:
Interfaces with event participants, donors, volunteers, and corporations.
4. Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable:
Serves as the Executive Director's or Associate Director's initial point of contact for all accounts payable and accounts receivable. Sets up vendors for payment, submits check requisitions, tracks outgoing payments and incoming revenue, and troubleshoots missing payments/donations.
5. Mission Support:
Provides logistical and administrative support to mission-related activities within the region. Provides assistance for Help & Support, HCP, Juvenile Arthritis (JA) and Advocacy & Access mission-deliverables.
6. All other duties as needed/assigned by Executive Director or Region Vice President
Required Experience &
Education:
Strong administrative skills
Strong working knowledge of finance and fundraising
Proficient in logistics and implementation of community special events and mission activities
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Excellent computer and software skills to include database management
Successful collaborative skills working with a variety of groups, including volunteers
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Goal-oriented with the ability to work as a part of a team and/or independently
Interest in fundraising, mission delivery, and volunteer development
Customer-service focused

Provides logistical support for the Walk to Cure Arthritis, the Jingle Bell Run, gala events, mission-based activities, and others as needed - 35%
Helps manage special events, programs, and contacts through database management - 20%
Provides customer service to external stakeholders, internal stakeholders, donors, event participants and others - 10%
