Job Summary
Provide services to donors related to their gifts to Georgia Tech, including acknowledgements, gift processing and recordkeeping. Record gifts with high level of accuracy and in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service for donors. This position will interact consistently with donors, Office of Development management and staff, college/school management and staff, and communications staff.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to donors by accurate and timely gift processing and recordkeeping
- Prepare gift acknowledgements and maintain accurate records
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate's Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to four years of job related experience.
- Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to six years of related experience; experience in higher education advancement, a foundation, or other non-profit gift administration setting preferred.
- Knowledge of gift recording including pledges, planned and deferred gifts, giving challenges IRS regulations, and CASE, NACUBO, FASB guidelines preferred.
- Working knowledge of fundraising CRM software;
Blackbaud CRM experience preferred. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or oversee staff and balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with donors, colleagues across the Institute, and foundation staff.
- Ability to work responsibly and judiciously with confidential and sensitive donor and financial information at all times.
Salary Range: $56,000 - $65,000 commensurate with education and experience.
