Position: Administrative Professional III (Athletics)

Job Summary

Provide specialized administrative services within a campus unit, including organizing and preparing correspondence, reports, and other documentation; event management; records management; and related administrative activities. Provide guidance to lower level administrative personnel and interact consistently with unit management, staff, vendors, and office visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Originate and process correspondence, reports and other documentation.
  • Compile, organize and analyze data for use in reports.
  • Plan meetings and other events, including scheduling, reservations, and arrangements.
  • Make travel arrangements for unit staff and management as directed.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory.
  • Develop and maintain databases and records management systems.
  • Review and resolve routine administrative questions and issues; provide input regarding new or revised unit administrative procedures.
  • Provide training and ongoing work guidance to administrative staff members as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
:
High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma.

Required Experience
:
Three to four years of job related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Proposed Salary

Proposed Salary: $37,244 - $45,000 commensurate with education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

This job requires advanced skills in general office administration, including document processing and management, records management, event management, problem solving, office organization, and advanced use of office related computer applications.
