Librarian

We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in Atlanta USA As a Library Assistant you will support the daily operations of the library by helping patrons locate materials organizing and maintaining library resources and providing excellent customer service This position is suitable for men who have experience working in a library setting A biometric passport is required for this role.

• Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
• Maintain library organization by shelving books and other materials
• Catalog new materials and update existing records in the library system
• Process interlibrary loan requests from other libraries
• Provide basic reference assistance to patrons
• Assist with programming and events for all ages
• Communicate any issues or concerns to the librarian
• Oversee the use of computer equipment and assist patrons with technology needs

• Kenyan nationality preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working in a library setting is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and technology

Salary $1300 per month without accommodation
