Job Summary
Coordinate and provide professional and administrative support for targeted programs and/or projects and unit initiatives. This position will interact on a regular basis with faculty and staff. The position typically will advise and counsel faculty and staff.
Responsibilities- Plan, execute and provide assistance for meeting and event logistics and scheduling
- Establish schedules, oversee arrangements and provide logistics support for targeted programs and/or projects and unit initiatives
- Evaluate, assess and report on the feasibility and sustainability of potential programs, projects and initiatives
- Provide necessary support related to the identification and execution of adopted unit programs/projects and other unit initiatives
- Develop, arrange/coordinate meetings and project materials for distribution, as necessary
- Compile, organize and analyze data for use in reports for targeted programs/projects and other unit initiatives
- Monitor and update appropriate stakeholders of progress/milestones for program/project objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three to five years job related experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Three to five years of advanced experience in general office administration, including budget administration, unit-level procurement processing, document production and management, records management, event management, problem-solving, and office organization.
- Advanced skills in the use of office and financial-related computer applications.
- Experience with executive calendar management, meeting and event coordination, and operational support for senior leaders or executive-level offices.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and organization skills. The ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and/or within a team environment.
Other InformationThis is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P‑Card). This position will not travel. This position does not require security clearance.
Job Grade: A7
Pay Range Starting At: $49,308.00/yr up to $67,059.00/yr
Provide specialized administrative and operational support to the Office of the Provost (OOTP), contributing to the advancement of Georgia Tech's academic mission, strategic priorities, and institutional effectiveness. The position is responsible for executive calendar management and scheduling support for the Senior Vice Provost, coordination of leadership meetings and planning activities, and operational coordination for Office of the Provost priorities, initiatives, and events.
