- The Work-Study Student Project Assistant is an entry-level student employment position that provides administrative and project support to the Project Manager within Campus Operations. The position is intended to provide an enrolled student with practical, supervised work experience in project coordination, facilities operations, document management, budget and invoice tracking, and professional office practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- • Assist the Project Manager with updating project tracking spreadsheets.
• Help maintain project schedules, status reports, and action-item lists.
• Organize information for active Campus Operations projects.
• Assist with tracking project deadlines and upcoming activities.
• Help prepare materials for project meetings.
• Take meeting notes and document assigned action items.

General Qualifications
- • Current enrollment as a student at the College.
• Eligibility for and participation in the applicable Work-Study program.
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week while maintaining academic responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn departmental software.
• Ability to use or learn Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate professionally with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and contractors
Specific Qualifications
- · Coursework or interest in business, construction, engineering, architecture, finance, project management, facilities management, information technology, or a related field.
• Previous student employment, internship, volunteer, or office experience.
• Basic spreadsheet or Excel experience.
• Interest in campus facilities, construction, capital projects, or operations.
