Medical Administrative Assistant - In Office

Finan Templeton Dermatopathology Associates, a leading dermatopathology laboratory in Atlanta, is looking for a reliable, accurate, positive, and motivated Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional medical environment, takes pride in doing things accurately, and works well as part of a team. Previous medical office experience is helpful, but strong customer service experience is also highly valued
. Individuals with backgrounds in customer service—including servers, hosts, and other hospitality professionals—are encouraged to apply.

• Communicate professionally and courteously with client medical offices by telephone
• Enter patient demographics and diagnostic information accurately
• Prepare office supplies and materials for courier delivery
• Receive, organize, and distribute incoming deliveries
• Prepare and send testing materials to outside laboratories
• Perform general administrative and office duties as assigned
• Work collaboratively with physicians, laboratory staff, and other team members

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively on a computer
• Typing speed of approximately 40 words per minute
• Dependable, positive, and professional attitude
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour
