Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for maintaining all fleet vehicles and coordinating the covert vehicles to meet covert audit schedule.
- Oversee the maintenance of all GA Clean Air Force fleet vehicles.
- Ensure performance of covert vehicle, including the set up and testing failures of covert audit vehicles.
- Assist Customer Service staff in evaluation of repair receipts to determine if pricing is reasonable and if work notated is emission related.
- Visually inspect vehicles presented for repair waivers to determine whether the repair work has been performed.
- Serves as liaison to Georgia’s Clean Air Force public information staff for repair tech outreach.
- Work with management on motorist vehicles that have problems with emissions.
- Research motorist vehicles that have failed test multiple years and are requesting another repair waiver to determine possible solutions and/or repairs to the vehicle.
- Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the Opus HQ garage.
- Assist and provide support to auditors on both vehicle and visual audits.
- Assist the Overt and Covert managers on any fleet vehicle issues that may occur through the course of the business day.
- Provide support to the Assistant Repair Technician by answering questions as needed.
