This position’s responsibility is to grow the company’s revenue through securing agreements for servicing multi-family and business to business clients. This process includes developing relationships with owners, property management companies, and developers. Internal cross‑department collaboration is required to increase subscribers based on a community. This role is both challenging and rewarding, giving the successful candidate an opportunity to develop an interesting career in business strategy, marketing, and sales.
Duties & Responsibilities- Develop market potential by leveraging existing accounts, create new leads and developing relationships with existing customers to generate more business opportunities.
- Negotiate agreements with clients to subscribe to the company’s services.
- Inform the customer on the latest broadband service offerings from the company.
- Educate the customer about the latest broadband technology advances in the market relative to the company’s service.
- Provide potential customers with a clear comparison of the company’s broadband service features and benefits versus the competition.
- Qualify new business opportunities and prepare a profitability case to senior management for every agreement to ensure that the company makes a profit on submitted proposals.
- Promote the company at industry conferences, trade shows and industry associations when requested.
- Manage an account portfolio to maximize new property opportunities.
- Maintain and grow ongoing relationships with owners, property management companies and developers.
- College degree preferred and minimum three years of business development sales experience. Real estate experience in commercial or multi‑family sales or management will be considered a plus.
- Exercise confidentiality and professionalism in all areas of performance.
- Interface effectively with each level of the organization in a professional manner and has ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Anticipate problems and opportunities and provide options and resolutions.
- Develop solutions with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrate effective MS Office skills, including Word for Windows, Excel (spreadsheets: creation and input), and Outlook.
- Demonstrate effective customer relationship management software skills that include Sales Force.
- Able to perform in a fast‑paced rapidly changing environment and must have a high degree of adaptability, independence, and flexibility.
- Energetic, upbeat, outgoing, organized and detail oriented with excellent follow‑through skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when required.
