Overview

We’re looking for bold, entrepreneurial talent ready to help build something extraordinary — and reshape the future of building products distribution.

The Senior Director, Sales Operations is a field facing leader who builds and scales the operating framework that drives consistent, high impact sales execution across QXO. This role owns sales execution readiness across field and virtual teams, ensuring processes, tools, and compensation changes translate into real performance across regions and brands. Partnering closely with Sales Leadership and cross functional teams, this leader turns revenue strategy into repeatable execution and serves as the point of accountability for adoption, results, and performance at scale.

We are building a customer-focused, tech-enabled, and innovation-driven business that will scale rapidly through accretive M&A, organic growth, and greenfield expansion. Our strategy is rooted in delivering exceptional customer experiences, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging data, digital tools, and AI to modernize a historically under-digitized industry.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Operations Strategy:
Own and govern the field sales operating framework across Residential, WPR, Commercial, and NAM.
  • Translate revenue strategy into executable processes across field, inside, and virtual selling motions.
  • Establish operating rhythms, execution standards, and serve as the primary partner to field sales leadership.
  • Field Readiness and Rollout Execution:
Lead end to end readiness and execution for field facing changes across process, compensation, CRM, and playbooks.
  • Own rollout planning, communication, enablement coordination, and adoption tracking.
  • Define success metrics, monitor execution quality, and proactively course correct to protect productivity.
  • Sales Performance and Enablement:
Partner on sales performance frameworks including goals, KPIs, and incentives execution.
  • Translate activity and behavior into actionable performance insights and visibility.
  • Own time to productivity improvements and reinforce operational discipline.
  • Salesforce and Commercial Systems Partnership:
Bring strong operational fluency in Salesforce and commercial tools.
  • Partner with Salesforce Excellence and CRM to ensure systems enable field execution.
  • Represent field execution in CRM roadmap planning and jointly own adoption and data quality outcomes.
  • Acquisition Integration and Scale:
Lead field execution readiness for acquired businesses.
  • Partner on integration across people, process, reporting, and systems.
  • Enable scalable growth while maintaining consistent execution standards.
  • Leadership and Continuous Improvement:
Build and lead a high performing Sales Operations team.
  • Establish feedback loops with field leadership to drive improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on execution health, risk, and operational effectiveness.
What you ll bring
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations
  • 15+ years preferred, with experience operating at enterprise scale
  • Proven leadership experience supporting multi-channel sales organizations including field, inside, and virtual sales
  • Strong operational fluency in Salesforce and commercial technology ecosystems (not hands on configuration)
  • Demonstrated success leading large scale operational rollouts and driving sustained adoption
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Finance, Enablement, Marketing, and Technology leaders
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, and operating model transitions
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive presence skills
  • Ability to operate with urgency, discipline, and clarity in high growth, complex environments
What you ll earn
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • PTO, company holidays, and parental leave
  • Paid training and certifications
  • Legal assistance and identity protection
  • Pet insurance
