The School of Mathematics faculty instructs students from across campus, including undergraduates and graduates. Its faculty carry out research in a wide variety of Mathematical Sciences. Expertise in the School of Mathematical Biology includes immunology, microbial dynamics, several areas at the interface of molecular biology and discrete mathematics, disease transmission, biological networks, mathematical neuroscience, bioinformatics, and statistical methods in biology, and aggregation dynamics.
Job SummaryFacilitate and coordinate building operations within an assigned facility. Includes coordination of building maintenance and repairs, office moves, delivery and installation of furniture and equipment, building access control, and deliveries.
This position will interact on a consistent basis with building occupants and visitors, department heads, contractors, and vendors. It typically will advise and counsel contractors, vendors, and visitors. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities- Manage building maintenance functions (both routine and emergency); ensure activities are carried out in a complete and timely manner.
- Arrange for office moves within the facility; ensure they are carried out as scheduled.
- Coordinate the delivery and installation of building equipment.
- Maintain building access control system, including card entry and office key management.
- Facilitate arrangements of special events scheduled for the facility.
- Order building repair services as needed.
- Coordinate outside vendor/contractor services.
- Coordinate annual equipment inventory and maintain related records.
- Manage and update the emergency preparedness plan for the facility (facilities) and all related documents and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma.
- Three to five years of job‑related experience.
- Valid Georgia Driver's License.
- Work involves adherence to applicable safety precautions. Typically requires lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periods.
Pay Range: $55,000 – $62,000 per year.
