The National Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence across large enterprise elevator portfolios. This role combines strategic sales leadership with general management responsibilities, including full profit and loss accountability for assigned accounts. The position focuses on retention, expansion of existing relationships, acquisition of new national portfolios, and adoption of digital solutions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term retention, contract stability and organic growth.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase share of wallet within existing accounts through additional services and modernization solutions.
- Drive repair and modernization sales by leading capital planning discussions and presenting upgrade options that enhance safety, compliance, and performance.
- Prospect and secure new national portfolio accounts through targeted outreach and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers to review performance, identify growth opportunities, and reinforce value delivery.
- Collaborate & coach field teams to ensure consistent sales execution aligned with contractual requirements.
- Digital Sales Enablement:
Inform customers of TKE’s digital capabilities and drive adoption of MAX and MAX Sensor solutions across national portfolios to enhance predictive maintenance, operational efficiency, and overall customer experience.
- Analyze and increase account profitability and implement strategies to improve margins and overall portfolio performance.
- Ensure all contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are accurately captured internally and consistently executed across operational teams.
- Monitor and drive collections performance in partnership with national clients and local teams to optimize cash flow.
- Work closely with operations and branch leadership to ensure projects are accurately scoped, priced, and executed profitably.
- Maintain strong familiarity with company products and services through ongoing training and industry updates ensuring the ability to consult clients effectively and support strategic decision-making.
- Perform customer visits as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Perform local branch visits to enhance relationship with field organization to drive external customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Executes additional responsibilities as assigned to support business objectives, customer satisfaction, and organizational performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (7-10 years in national account management, sales management, or P&&L management)
- Proven success in B2B sales with P&&L responsibility
- Ability to read and interpret architectural or blueprint drawings preferred
- Proven success running enterprise scale service, repair, and modernization RFP’s
- CRM systems experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Background in managing large-scale projects and facilities management
- Full-time, exempt position. Schedule determined by business needs.
- Travel approximately 10 days per month, with occasional short-notice travel based on customer requirements.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
