Manager Strategy Corporate Development

As the U.S. arm of a Korea-based global manufacturing and innovation leader, we supply cutting-edge materials including automotive interior products, tire cords, aramid fibers, petrochemical resins, and electronic materials.

• Analyze industry trends and market conditions in the U.S., including future trends, internal and external environmental factors, value chains, and analysis of customers, competitors, and suppliers (both in existing and new business areas
• Develop sales strategies and plans to revitalize existing businesses.
• Formulate strategies to improve the structure, enhance capabilities, and maximize internal and external synergies in existing businesses (both organic and inorganic growth).
• Identify new business opportunities and develop entry strategies.
• Investment Opportunity Identification and Execution
• Analyze potential effects, including valuation, feasibility, and synergy assessments.
• Develop action plans, such as tapping strategies, and collaborate with and support related affiliates.
• Execute the investment process, including target contact, negotiation, and contract signing.
• Develop and implement plans to maximize business operation efficiency.
• Manage assets, including working capital and fixed assets.
• Manage human resources and develop organizational capabilities in alignment with business strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
• Master’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Strategic Consulting Company
• Extensive experience in strategic consulting projects (experience as a Project Manager is preferred).
• High proficiency in PowerPoint and Power BI
• Strong understanding on management accounting
• Strong business acumen – must be able to research, understand and report on complex financial, technology, and business matters
• Commercial Due Diligence and basic financial accounting/valuation capabilities.
• Proven track record in data analysis
• Ability to use written language, diagrams, charts, etc. to convey complex matters to varied audiences with different cultural and language backgrounds
• Bilingual in Korean and English is required.
