Market Manager

Our client are looking for a Market Manager to take full ownership of a growing portfolio of operating projects across New Jersey and potentially additional markets. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll manage the full lifecycle of customer subscriptions, revenue performance, partner relationships, and market operations.

What You’ll Own

As Market Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full end‑to‑end performance of your market:

• Keep all projects fully subscribed and maximize revenue across your portfolio
• Oversee monthly billing, credit allocation, and payment collection
• Reduce churn and maintain a strong customer experience
• Manage subscription agreements and ensure compliance with program rules
• Work closely with subscription management partners (e.g., Ampion, Powermarket)
• Ensure smooth utility coordination and timely delivery of all partner obligations
• Hold partners accountable to contract terms, deliverables, and performance metrics

Customer Lifecycle & Acquisition

• Develop strategies to replace customers who churn
• Build SOPs for when and how new customers should be acquired
• Collaborate with internal teams to source higher‑value customers at lower cost
• Oversee onboarding, documentation, QA/QC, and compliance for all new customers

Data, Reporting & Market Operations

• Manage large volumes of customer and revenue data with accuracy
• Provide clear monthly reporting on key operational and financial metrics
• Ensure all subscription documentation meets internal and regulatory requirements
