A Customer Service Representative supports the organization by telephone, fax, or email by obtaining, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of order information in a timely manner. This role Initiates and/or implements corrective action as needed in order to ensure that an excellent standard of service and a high level of customer satisfaction are maintained.
What You Will Be Doing:- Support the Shipping Supervisor with preparation of daily truck sheets, route orders, and customer pickup orders.
- Monitor the ODD report daily to ensure all orders due are processed on time, consistently maintaining at least a two-day advance review.
- Track and manage back-ordered items, communicating updates effectively with the Customer Service Manager and Order Entry team.
- Complete start and end tickets for all work orders turned in each day, ensuring accuracy and timely documentation.
- Schedule common carrier shipments promptly once orders are ready for dispatch.
- Maintain accuracy while multitasking and prioritizing competing deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Perform other related duties and provide back-up support to other group members as assigned by management.

- Proven working experience in shipping/ logistics
- Must be able to multi-task, be organized, efficient, and accurate.
- Must have excellent communication (written and oral)
- Ability to work full-time, and according to Branch warehouse needs, Monday through Friday 7AM – 4PM, overtime may be required.
- This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, etc.
- Regular and predictable attendance, safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job.
- Proficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office suite( excel) .
