The opportunity

At B&D, we lead the planning, development, and management of the places that shape and strengthen our communities. We’re looking for a Project Analyst who is energized by research, analysis, and financial modeling. Someone intellectually curious, naturally inquisitive, and motivated to grow in both capability and professional maturity.

In this role, you’ll help advise colleges, universities, municipalities, and mission-driven institutions on how to position major assets such as campus housing and recreation centers to athletic facilities, mixed-use developments, and community spaces. If you enjoy asking smart questions, diving deep into data, and turning complex findings into meaningful insights, this role is for you.

This is a hybrid position located in Atlanta, GA, with a schedule of three days in the office each week.

What You’ll Do

Conduct market research, interviews, surveys, and focus groups

Perform site analysis, needs assessments, and program planning

Build and refine financial models

Analyze and synthesize data into clear, strategic recommendations

Develop presentation decks and written deliverables for clients

Support client meetings and presentations

Contribute ideas and recommendations to project teams

Assist with quality control and ongoing research initiatives

Participate in business development activities and industry events

What We're Seeking

Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, real estate, finance, economics, higher education, architecture, or a related field

2+ years of relevant experience.

Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills

Analytical rigor with the ability to connect data to strategy

Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously improve

Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Willingness to travel on a monthly basis

This role's target base annual salary range is currently $70,. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education, experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate, and pay relative to other team members.
