What the job involves:
We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Performance Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will learn data analysis methodologies for real estate performance metrics, financial modeling techniques, and business intelligence reporting practices.
As a  Summer Intern in Performance Analytics  at JLL, you will:

• Portfolio Performance Analysis :
Analyze key performance indicators across commercial real estate portfolios, including occupancy rates, rental income trends, and market comparables to support investment decisions

• Financial Modeling and Forecasting :
Assist in building and maintaining financial models for property valuations, cash flow projections, and investment return calculations using Excel and specialized software

• Market Research and Data Collection :
Gather and synthesize market data from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports on real estate trends, demographic shifts, and competitive landscape analysis

• Dashboard Development and Reporting :
Support the creation of automated dashboards and executive reports using data visualization tools to present performance metrics to senior leadership and clients

• Process Improvement Initiatives :
Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis workflows while documenting best practices for performance measurement and reporting procedures

Education, Skills, and Experience
• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in finance, economics, data analytics, business, or related field

• Advanced Excel proficiency :

Experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools, and financial modeling functions

• Statistical analysis capabilities :
Familiarity with statistical concepts and data analysis methods, preferably with exposure to SQL, R, Python, or similar tools

• Strong quantitative reasoning :
Demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights

• Detail-oriented accuracy :
Proven track record of maintaining precision when working with large datasets and financial calculations
