TK Elevator is currently detail oriented and proactive Contract Analyst
- New Installation/Modernization to join our dynamic Contracts team in Atlanta, GA.
Responsible for reviewing and negotiating NI/MOD contract documents, ensuring alignment with company standards and protecting TKE's interests in areas such as liability, payment terms, lien rights, and other critical clauses. You'll play a key role in supporting departmental operations, meeting SLA and KPI goals, and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Examine construction contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
* Identify potential risks or red flags in contract terms and conditions.
* Prepare, edit, and revise contract drafts and amendments or redlines to protect TKE interests.
* Provide guidance and alternative contract language to customers as wells as branch personnel on complex legal matters that may negatively impact company operations.
* Negotiate terms with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
* Manage and update contract databases and tracking systems.
* Track and manage contract modification requests from initiation through approval and final execution
* Knowledge of contract terms, bonds, insurance certificates, and OCIP/CCIP processes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers through responsive communication, tailored solutions, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
* Coordinate with legal, finance, and construction teams to resolve contract-related issues.
* Manage and resolve escalated issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent with training in accounting and business and/or contract law.
* At least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Along with at least 1 year of contract review and negotiation experience.
* Possesses basic understanding of key construction arena contract clauses (e.g., liquidated damages, consequential damages, insurance, indemnification, pay-when-paid, etc.).
* Ability to explain and simplify complex legal concepts to non-legal personnel both verbally and in writing.
* Experience managing contract compliance in alignment with corporate policy.
* Ability to handle own high-level negotiations with TKE's customers on an as needed basis
* Ability to manage within a group in furtherance of achieving corporate contract policy on all negotiated agreements.
* Exceptional focus and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks.
* Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, maintaining efficiency and composure under pressure
* Experience in the construction industry or a background in contract administration is highly desirable
