Job Description

As a Project Manager at Sage, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering successful implementations that help customers modernize and scale their financial operations. As part of the Sage Intacct Expert Services team, you’ll lead multiple concurrent customer engagements, guiding projects from kickoff through go‑live while ensuring a high‑quality, collaborative experience for all stakeholders. In this role, you’ll partner closely with customers, consultants, and internal teams to manage scope, timelines, and delivery—balancing structure with agility in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

Your work directly impacts customer confidence, adoption, and long‑term success with Sage Intacct and related solutions.

This is a hybrid role based on‑site three days per week in our Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX office.

• Lead and deliver full lifecycle software implementation projects following Sage Intacct’s Project Delivery Methodology.
• Ensure completion of the full scope of contracted services and deliverables as defined in the Statement of Work.
• Achieve on‑time/on‑budget project completion, high customer satisfaction, and successful system adoption.
• Build/maintain project plans and drive on‑time task completion by both customer and internal personnel.
• Report project status/budgets to customer and relevant internal personnel.
• Maintain internal project details utilizing Sage’s project tracking systems including project status, forecast of remaining budgeted hours to tasks, target completion dates, and assigned personnel.
• Produce quality project documentation and receive timely customer signoffs.
• Track and resolve project issues including scope changes.
• Identify and book change order and/or add‑on services opportunities with current clients.
• Achieve revenue and/or billable hour minimums as assigned by employee’s manager and accurately track work time daily using the designated time‑tracking tools.
• Ensure project team members submit project work time accurately and timely, and review/approve all submissions by stated deadlines.
• Build strong, positive relationships with both internal and customer personnel.

• 3+ years of experience delivering ERP implementations in a client‑facing or consulting environment.
• Hands‑on experience working from formal project plans, timelines, and delivery milestones.
• Proven experience supporting external customer implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables within lean project teams.
• Comfort operating in small, agile implementation teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
