Job Overview
Provide analysis and insights to support the MBFS Pricing, Programs and Retention team. The Senior Analyst, Financial Services Programs & Retention position will require collecting and interpreting data from various sources in order to facilitate, develop, and validate planning and sales scenarios, trends, and opportunities. This position will develop and distribute a number of reports encompassing a wide variety of Key Performance Indicators critical to the Sales and Marketing organization.
This includes analyzing sales programs for effectiveness and analyzing loyalty and customer retention data/trends. This position is a key resource for providing insights and opportunities from sales and customer loyalty related data, and with contributions that are vital to the overall success of the company. Must be fully versed in current data analysis tools. A basic understanding of relational databases and data warehouses is required.
The ideal candidate will also have experience navigating the financial services business operations processes. A knowledge across a broad range of topics including Customer Service, Remarketing, Credit, Funding, Collections and Field Sales would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for development of reporting and analysis using customer retention/conquesting data to provide the most accurate and timely information to the leadership team. Act as lead in determining / recommending the most advanced, integrated platforms available. This includes development of automated reporting and dashboards, using modern business intelligence tools and solutions (e.g. Power
BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Cognos), to assist in data driven decision-making. - Able to effectively determine and communicate insights and analysis to all levels of the organization.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing teams to develop and launch marketing campaigns/finance programs, focused on driving customer loyalty and attracting new customers to the brand.
- Compile, review and analyze competitive data to support strategic initiatives and to prepare reports of current market developments and future trends impacting the loyalty and retention programs and processes. Develop business metrics that measure performance and identify areas of opportunity and potential growth.
- Actively represent MBFS U.S. on regional/global work teams related to loyalty & retention topics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or other relevant field
- Must have 3 - 5 years (total) of business or equivalent experience;
Knowledge of SQL is required. Knowledge of other languages such as R and Python is not a requirement but will be viewed as a plus. Broad knowledge and experience in data visualization is required. Prior experience with Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, and MBFS Data Warehouse preferred. - Business – General:
