ADP Lyric Payroll Consultant

Spencer Thomas Group (STG) is currently looking to add to our team of consultants under our HCM practice.

Client is currently using ADP Lyric HCM for payroll. They are looking for a consultant to support payroll operations during a staff transition.

In this role, you will support client team in executing accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations across designated employee populations. Responsibilities include end‑to‑end payroll processing, data validation, audit activities, issue resolution, and partnership with other HCM Partner staff, client teams and ADP teams to support a seamless payroll experience for all employees.

• Process multi‑cycle payrolls including regular, off‑cycle, bonus, and termination payments.
• Validate payroll input data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
• Reconcile payroll results, investigate discrepancies, and ensure timely corrections.
• Maintain payroll records, support audits, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Partner with HR, Time & Attendance, and Finance teams to resolve payroll‑related inquiries.
• Provide ongoing process improvement recommendations to optimization team, to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency

• Experience and proficiency with ADP Lyric payroll
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other partners, including competitors, for client success

This is a project-based consulting opportunity with an immediate start date and a duration of 8-12 weeks with the opportunity to extend.

Full‑time hours, hybrid model requested with onsite days in Atlanta, GA and remote, depending on availability in the local Atlanta area

Client based in EST, hybrid is preferred by client, but open to remote to get the needed support
