PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Reporting to the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer (CLAO), the Business Operations Manager serves as a strategic and operational partner responsible for enabling the effectiveness of the CLAO across Legal, Administrative functions, International operations, and Supply Chain. This role acts as an extension of the CLAO, driving enterprise priorities, enabling cross‑functional execution, and managing critical initiatives. This highly visible role requires strong business acumen, executive presence, operational rigor, and the ability to operate across diverse functions.

This individual will play a critical role in connecting enterprise priorities to functional execution, enabling the CLAO to maintain focus on high‑impact strategic and risk‑related matters.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Partnership & Executive Enablement

Serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner to the CLAO, helping prioritize, sequence, and execute against key initiatives. Drive strategic planning and budget processes across supported functions. Act as a central integration point across the CLAO’s portfolio, promoting clear ownership, accountability, and progress on priorities.

Enterprise Program & Initiative Leadership

Manage high‑priority, cross‑functional initiatives on behalf of the CLAO that require coordination across multiple geographies, brands, and teams. Establish communication protocols, operating rhythms, and accountability mechanisms for enterprise priorities. Partner with functional leaders to identify dependencies, remove barriers, and accelerate outcomes.

Organizational Effectiveness

Drive operating cadence for the CLAO organization, including leadership meetings, strategic reviews, business updates, and annual planning processes. Foster alignment between CLAO‑led functions and enterprise priorities, including coordination with Finance, HR, Operations, and Brand leadership. Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting to monitor organizational health and performance. Identify opportunities to improve processes, decision‑making, communication, and organizational efficiency.

Executive Communication & Governance

Manage preparation and coordination of presentations, briefings, and talking points for executive leadership, board interactions, and key stakeholder meetings. Translate complex topics into clear, concise, business‑oriented communications. Coordinate responses to enterprise‑level requests and initiatives impacting supported functions.

Business Operations & Analytics

Develop executive‑level analyses and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making. Track and manage key deliverables, risks, and metrics across functions, ensuring visibility and proactive issue resolution. Support annual budgeting, resource planning, and investment prioritization processes.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 4-Year Degree / Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field. Preferred MBA, JD, or other advanced degree.

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION

7+ years of progressive experience in strategy operations, consulting, chief of staff, legal operations, corporate development, HR, finance, or related disciplines. Experience supporting or partnering with senior executives in large, complex organizations. Experience with in a global consumer, retail, hospitality, restaurant, franchise, or multi‑brand organization preferred. Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, legal operations, or business transformation preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
  • Demonstrated success leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving organizational change.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
  • Experience operating in a global, matrixed environment.
