Are you an elite travel professional who thrives in a sophisticated, high-volume financial environment? A premier global investment bank is seeking a highly technical Travel Coordinator to join a specialized 3-person US Travel Desk. Managing high-touch logistics for approximately 300 professionals, this role operates much like an in-house travel agency.
This is not a traditional executive assistant role booking occasional trips. We are seeking an industry expert with a deep understanding of global ticketing infrastructure, class-of-service pricing dynamics, and international relocation logistics.
Core Responsibilities:End-to-End Global Booking: Coordinate, quote, and book complex multi-stop domestic and international flights, group travel, elite lodging, and private car services.
Advanced Tools & Research: Leverage Concur Solutions and global booking networks to conduct rigorous carrier price comparisons, optimizing routes while strictly enforcing internal corporate travel policies.
International Relocations: Spearhead full family international relocations (predominantly from Brazil to Miami), overseeing complex temporary housing logistics, visa procurement, and pet transportation accommodations.
Visa Procurement: Manage the end-to-end travel visa pipeline, including preparing sensitive legal documentation, issuing processing checks, and liaising directly with visa expeditor services.
24/7 Traveler Consequence Management: Maintain immaculate, detailed travel itineraries and provide high-touch customer support for foreign and domestic after-hours travel emergencies.
Vendor & Data Control: Diligently track corporate rewards points, manage relationships/contract reviews with external travel agencies, alert international offices of visiting dignitaries, and assist with month-end corporate card reconciliations.
Experience: 2+ years of high-volume business travel booking experience (experience working directly within a commercial travel agency, airline desk, or high-volume corporate travel department is highly preferred).
Technical Sourcing Toolkit: Deep familiarity with corporate booking tools (Concur) is required. Hands-on experience navigating a GDS platform (Sabre or Amadeus) is a massive advantage and serves as a primary indicator of structural industry knowledge.
Language
Skills:
Portuguese fluency is strongly preferred due to heavy coordination with international offices and relocating families.Operational Stamina: Exceptional, acute attention to detail with the ability to multitask seamlessly in an extremely fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.
Availability: Must be flexible and reachable on weekends/after-hours to handle urgent global travel disruptions or emergencies.
