Provide services to donors related to their gifts to Georgia Tech, including acknowledgements, gift processing and recordkeeping. Record gifts with high level of accuracy and in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service for donors. This position will interact on a consistent basis with donors, Office of Development management and staff, college/school management and staff and appropriate communications staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: same as above.
This position will supervise: NA.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors by accurate and timely gift processing and recordkeeping.
- Prepare gift acknowledgements and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree, Technical Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Overnight travel required for project delivery; flexibility in on‑site daily service delivery hours degree in related (due to client shift schedules, project requirements).
- Three to four years of job related experience.
- Experience in gift planning and accounting skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Five to six years of related experience required; experience in higher education advancement, a foundation, or other non‑profit gift administration setting preferred.
- Knowledge of gift recording including pledges, planned and deferred gifts, and giving challenges IRS regulations as they pertain to charitable giving, and CASE, NACUBO, and FASB guidelines.
- Working knowledge of fundraising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software;
Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM) experience preferred. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or oversee staff and to balance multiple priorities and deadlines within a large, complex, and dynamic organization.
- Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated accuracy in data entry and financial record‑keeping.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with donors, colleagues across the Institute, and Foundation staff.
- Ability to work responsibly and judiciously with confidential and sensitive donor and financial information at all times.
Salary Range: $56,000 - $65,000 commensurate with education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, and experience in planning and organizing large events.
- This is not a supervisory position.
- This position does not have any financial responsibilities.
- This position will not be required to drive.
- This role is not considered a position of trust.
- This position does not require a purchasing card (P‑Card).
- This position will not travel.
- This position does not require security clearance.
