This role focuses on partnerships across key product areas including in-flight and ground experiences such as amenities, catering, cabin design, service delivery, and broader customer experience touchpoints.

This role owns the full partnership lifecycle—from sourcing and structuring opportunities through negotiation and execution—while working across multiple business units to bring innovative concepts to market. You will play a key role in shaping how Delta integrates partners into its products and experiences and in defining new commercial models that support long‑term growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and deliver a pipeline of strategic partnerships across Brand Experience and adjacent verticals, with accountability for revenue generation and commercial outcomes

  • Structure and lead negotiations for complex, multi‑million dollar partnership agreements, including pricing, value exchange, and contract terms

  • Develop and own financial models and business cases to inform deal strategy, pricing, and investment trade‑offs

  • Lead cross‑functional alignment across Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to execute partnerships effectively

  • Translate complex opportunities into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for senior leadership

  • Identify emerging trends, partnership models, and competitive insights to inform long‑term strategy and innovation

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, or related roles

  • Strong financial modeling and business case development skills

  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and functions in a fast‑paced environment

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to a range of audiences

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Point

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in partnerships, strategy, or business development

  • Bachelor's, MBA or advanced degree in business or a related field

  • Experience structuring complex partnership agreements or commercial deals

  • Experience in airline, travel, hospitality, or related industries

  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance revenue, customer experience, and brand considerations

  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and develop structured solutions to complex problems

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership
