Must Haves:
Definitely need a techno-functional BA. Someone who can operate on both the business side and get into the weeds technically. APIs and integrations are the big separator. Need someone who's actually worked on system-to-system integrations, not just familiar with the concept. Comfortable with JSON/XML and being able to read/understand schemas and data structures. Exposure to tools/processes like Postman, SOAP, running test cases, etc.

Soft skills VERY important:
Someone who takes ownership, is proactive, and can drive conversations (not waiting for direction).

Responsibilities:
Pretty true end-to-end BA role. Not just taking requirements, but actually driving things forward. Heavy involvement in system integrations and data mapping (this is a big part of the job, not just a nice to have). Gathering requirements from internal business/product teams, turning that into user stories and functional docs. Running/leading working sessions (JAD-style) and helping move conversations along across teams.

Staying involved through delivery, supporting dev & QA teams, answering questions, helping unblock things. Main stakeholders are product managers, business owners, vertical leads on one side, and dev/architects/QC team on the other. This role is fully internal-facing.
