Work Arrangement: Hybrid- in-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; may be required onsite four days some weeks.
Contract Duration: 6 months with option to extend
Position Summary
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to support a multi-year initiative focused on a mortgage-purchase program. This consultant will operate across Product Management, Business Analysis, and Scrum delivery responsibilities, helping translate complex business processes and transactional data requirements into clear technical requirements and an executable product roadmap.
The role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple business units. The successful candidate will quickly assess the current business and technical environment, drive detailed requirements gathering, organize and manage the Jira backlog, and support delivery across multiple program phases.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role
- Demonstrated experience translating complex business processes into system and technical requirements
- Experience developing and managing multi-phase program roadmaps
- Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience gathering, documenting, clarifying, and validating requirements with business stakeholders
- Experience managing and refining a product or program backlog
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to facilitate requirements and working sessions across multiple business groups
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, identify risks, and escalate material issues appropriately
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders who have varying levels of technical knowledge
- Banking, mortgage, or broader financial-services experience
- SQL or general data-analysis experience
- Experience working with transactional data
- UI/UX design experience
- Experience developing mockups, screen flows, or screen documentation
