We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized IBP Specialist to join our Integrated Business Planning team within the Wood-Products business. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and accurate business processes including invoice validation, order management, and product management. This role will interact primarily with S&OP managers, traders, and external warehouses (reloads). The ideal candidate will be contribution-motivated, thorough, and detail oriented – always having an eye toward process improvement opportunities.
OurTeam
Our Integrated Business Planning team supports GP's Wood-Products businesses, including Plywood, OSB, and Lumber. We collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to align and optimize short- and medium-term operating plans with the overall business strategy. Our responsibilities include managing and providing insights into production, sales, and inventory plans to ensure they are coordinated, effective, and optimal.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Accounting, and Transportation to manage inventory across multiple facilities.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including communicating with third-party facilities and system transactions.
- Oversee invoicing and resolve billing issues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in the wood products industry or a similar sector.
- Familiarity with inventory reconciliations
- Proficiency with order management systems and inventory software, such as SAP
