Integrated Business Planning Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized IBP Specialist to join our Integrated Business Planning team within the Wood-Products business. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and accurate business processes including invoice validation, order management, and product management. This role will interact primarily with S&OP managers, traders, and external warehouses (reloads). The ideal candidate will be contribution-motivated, thorough, and detail oriented – always having an eye toward process improvement opportunities.

Our Integrated Business Planning team supports GP's Wood-Products businesses, including Plywood, OSB, and Lumber. We collaborate with Sales and Manufacturing to align and optimize short- and medium-term operating plans with the overall business strategy. Our responsibilities include managing and providing insights into production, sales, and inventory plans to ensure they are coordinated, effective, and optimal.

• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Accounting, and Transportation to manage inventory across multiple facilities.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including communicating with third-party facilities and system transactions.
• Oversee invoicing and resolve billing issues.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Experience in the wood products industry or a similar sector.
• Familiarity with inventory reconciliations
• Proficiency with order management systems and inventory software, such as SAP
