Sales Operations Analyst

The Sales Operations Analyst reports to the Manager of the AMER Renewals Sales Team and acts as a proactive partner within a global sales operations team. The role focuses on delivering consistent, data‑driven insights across pipeline, forecasting, and key performance indicators while building strong cross‑functional relationships and driving operational efficiencies.

• Participate actively in the global sales operations team to meet weekly tasks.
• Provide and support weekly reporting needs related to opportunity, forecasting, pipeline, and other business KPIs.
• Support consistency in all business practices.
• Own the forecasting process for your region and deliver readouts to business partners.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments (finance, quoting, data teams) to deliver additional ad‑hoc reporting.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly hedge forecasting reports.
• Support global operational planning, targets, and quota setting.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting and analysis covering opportunity, pipeline, and other business‑related sales metrics.
• Administer, manage, and report on revenue forecasting using VMware methodology and automation tools; drive adoption of forecasting dashboards.
• Develop comprehensive pipeline reporting tools.
• Promote field CRM adoption and sales data consistency (sales "hygiene") with teams to improve account and opportunity visibility.

• Ability to assess market and business trends through data analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
• Proficiency in spotting operational & data gaps, determining root causes, and translating findings into actionable plans.
• Deliver accurate work in a timely manner.
• Aid and advise Sales Management on all aspects of the region.
• Drive and support communication and awareness of operational renewal changes.
• Enhance the operational cost‑to‑serve outlook.
• Provide support to finance and other cross‑functional teams for data needs and audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in subscription data or analytics within a related industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Oracle, SAP, and SFDC.
• Ability to build custom reports and dashboards.
• Experience collaborating as part of a global team (plus).
• Experience in a renewals‑focused department or inside sales team.
• Strong presenter with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Confidence, enthusiasm, and aptitude for creating, cataloguing, and optimizing process flow maps and reporting‑suite guides.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Annual base salary range: $60,000 - $100,000. The role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and equity in accordance with the company plan documents and agreements. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans; 401(k) participation with company match;
