Gain invaluable global exposure, collaborating with teams spanning APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Forge strong collaborative ties with various departments within the Ratings Commercial organization to achieve collective objectives and drive organizational growth.
- The successful candidate will support the commercial strategy team for S&P Global Ratings globally to ensure that One Commercial team achieves its key business objectives to grow the core ratings business and expand across markets, geographies, and emerging risks.
- Develop a strong understanding of Ratings business strategic objectives and operations.
- Prepare and organize content for internal and external senior engagements, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel analysis.
- Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting to support business processes.
- Support the Commercial Strategy team in managing existing and new affiliate relationships including inorganic execution and integration.
- Support the Product team with product innovation as well as customer intake surveys and market-sounding focus groups to acquire market intelligence.
- Work with internal Product Integration team in order to leverage and optimize existing platforms for efficiency such as Ratings
360, Salesforce, and other platforms. - Conduct research for competitive intelligence to inform the Commercial Strategy Senior Leadership team.
- Support strategic projects and ad-hoc business initiatives.
This section is only applicable to US candidates. S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300 to $143,800. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and bonus, and additional S&P Global benefits.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience, ideally in financial services.
- Highly proficient skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (additional BI tools a plus; Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (speech writing experience a plus).
- Courageous and willing to challenge the status quo.
- Collaborative, resourceful, energetic, and tenacious: overcomes hurdles and figures out how to get things done.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and Ratings products & services.
- Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within a large matrixed organization.
- High standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal direction.
