Role Description

The Senior Residency Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, GA and Chevy Chase, MD. This role is responsible for guiding prospective residents and their families through the residency process, from initial inquiry and tours through move-in and ongoing relationship management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting community tours, explaining residency options and services, responding promptly to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and related systems.

The Senior Residency Consultant collaborates with operations, care, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless experience, supports occupancy goals through proactive outreach, and participates in local networking and events to build referral relationships. The role also involves monitoring market trends, providing feedback on community offerings, and upholding Galerie Living's standards for hospitality, professionalism, and resident-centered service.

Qualifications
  • Experience in consultative sales or residency/lease-up roles, preferably in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to support residents and families through important decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) for tracking leads and residency information.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and confident presentation abilities.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, follow-ups, and events while meeting occupancy and performance goals.
  • Ability to work on-site including some evenings or weekends as needed for tours, events, or resident-family meetings.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills for working with operations, care, and marketing teams to support resident satisfaction and community growth.
  • Previous experience in senior living, real estate, hospitality, or a related field is highly beneficial.
  • High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in business, communications, social services, or a related discipline is preferred.
