Purpose of Job The purpose of this job is to provide project coordination, administrative, procurement, and grantmaking support for the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA), supporting both the Public Art and Arts Education programs. Duties include but are not limited to assisting with project planning and procurement; coordinating grantmaking, grantee communication, documentation, and reporting; and supporting Public Art projects through communication and coordination with muralists, visual artists, commissioned artists, community partners, and other stakeholders.
The position will also assist with artist calls, commissions, jury and selection panels, project documentation, and procurement and payment processes. Additional duties include supporting Arts Education grants and programs and performing other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access), and familiarity with SharePoint.
- Basic knowledge of ATL Cloud/Oracle and City Procurement protocol.
- Accurately manages procurement and payables processing related to projects and artist payments.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintains program records, files, creates and maintains databases.
- Completes daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined and assigned during the course of employment.
- Direction received is focused on end results and is typically collaborative in nature.

The ability to compile, organize, prepare and maintain an assortment of records, reports and information in an effective manner and according to departmental and/or governmental regulations. Employee needs to accrue an extensive knowledge of the terminology used within the department. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, and other staff members is paramount. Mathematical ability to handle required calculations and ability to use independent judgment in routine and non-routine situations is required.
Capable of working under deadlines that require constant attention to detail and tight deadlines. Has extensive knowledge of the project procedures and methods as required in the performance of duties.
