The Senior Analyst, Business Continuity will report to the Director, Corporate Resilience and Threat Intelligence and support efforts across all business units and site facilities to develop, maintain, and update business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure critical business processes continue to function after disruptive events, including natural disasters, system failures, terrorism, crime, and human error. The Senior Analyst will lead detailed, company-wide business impact analysis and risk assessments covering IT systems, business processes, building management systems, data center facilities, personnel security, supply chain systems, and third‑party supplier supported activities.
Additionally, the Senior Analyst will support the Director in conducting, communicating, and maintaining business continuity lifecycle planning for QTS. This role will be required to leverage a full understanding of compliance program. The Senior Analyst will also manage emergency notifications, crisis management, and emergency response plans and procedures.

Assist and lead in the design, development, maintenance, and implementation of the QTS business continuity framework, business impact analyses, recovery strategy development, contingency planning, and business continuity awareness. In accordance with ISO
22301 certification, maintain program processes and practices that effectively ensure the enterprise program seeks continuous improvement, remains current, incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices as appropriate, and adequately covers general regulatory/audit requirements. Maintain a full understanding of business operations, processes, and strategies that require business continuity capabilities. Define, create, and socialize BC planning and recovery policies signed off by senior leadership.
Lead implementation and maintenance of business continuity tools. Build relationships with executives, business unit leaders, technical teams, governance, and third parties to understand availability and recovery needs. Work closely with all Lines of Business (LOBs) to coordinate business continuity activities, and provide guidance to users on plan development, detail, testing, and execution. Conduct reviews with business units based on criticality;
at a minimum, conduct annual reviews for critical processes. Collaborate with QTS Third Party Risk Management to review critical third-party service provider resiliency to deliver core services to QTS facilities. Work with critical business process owners and IT systems owners to ensure mitigation plans for use in the event of a QTS vendor or third‑party disruptive event. Assist with the development and maintenance of business continuity customer‑facing communications and emergency preparedness materials.
Facilitate business continuity tabletop exercises at site facilities and craft after action reports for management review. Support real‑time incident/crisis management teams to plan, manage, and recover from natural and man‑made disaster events.
