Proactive Global is a specialist recruitment business supporting the warehouse automation, robotics and advanced technology sectors. Established 25 years ago, we partner with the systems integrators, OEMs and end users building and operating automated distribution networks, and we supply the engineering and technical talent that keeps those systems running.
Our US division was established three years ago and is now scaling. This is an opportunity to join a growing business early, backed by 25 years of experience and an established international operation.
The opportunityWe are hiring graduates into our Sales function to develop new business across the warehouse automation market. This is a dedicated sales role rather than a full desk. You will identify and win new clients, and our Relationship Management and Talent Attraction teams will deliver against the roles you bring in. That separation allows you to specialize, build genuine market expertise, and scale your billings faster than a traditional model allows.
No prior recruitment or engineering experience is required. Full training is provided.
Responsibilities- Map your assigned market and build a target account list
- Generate new business through outbound calls, email, Linked In and industry events
- Lead client meetings both remotely and on site
- Negotiate commercial terms, fees and rates
- Work closely with your Relationship Manager and Talent Attraction colleagues to ensure successful delivery
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in our CRM
You will join a structured onboarding program built on 25 years of recruitment experience, covering recruitment fundamentals, systems and process, the candidate journey, and the warehouse automation market. At the three month point you will be streamed into a permanent seat based on demonstrated strengths.
Progression from there is clearly defined, with promotion criteria tied to performance and a route into team leadership for those who want it.

- Evidence of competitiveness and resilience, whether through sport, part time work, or a previous commercial role
- Comfortable engaging technical buyers and learning a complex market
- Committed to working in a collaborative, office based environment
