Job Summary

The Clinical Implementation Specialist (Talk With Me Baby) serves as the primary implementation resource supporting the integration, sustainability, and continuous improvement of Talk With Me Baby across Women's, Infant, and Pediatric Health Services at Grady Health System. Working collaboratively with the Director of Practice Operations, implementation team members, clinical leaders, and frontline staff, the Clinical Implementation Specialist coordinates implementation activities that integrate evidence-based parent coaching into routine clinical care through workforce development, training, coaching, workflow optimization, performance monitoring, continuous quality improvement, and collaborative problem solving.

Through these efforts, the Clinical Implementation Specialist helps ensure that TWMB is consistently delivered as part of everyday practice, enabling families to receive high-quality, relationship-centered support that promotes early language development and healthy child outcomes. The Clinical Implementation Specialist serves as an implementation resource and trusted advisor to clinical leaders and staff, translating program goals into practical workflows, facilitating collaboration across disciplines, identifying implementation opportunities and barriers, and supporting the sustainable adoption of evidence-based practices.

Working as part of the TWMB implementation team, the Clinical Implementation Specialist contributes to ongoing program refinement by sharing implementation insights, recommending improvements, and supporting data-informed decision making. Following orientation, the successful candidate is expected to function with a high degree of independence while exercising sound professional judgment in planning, prioritizing, and carrying out assigned responsibilities with minimal day-to-day supervision.

The Clinical Implementation Specialist exercises considerable independent judgment while working within established program goals, organizational priorities, and the strategic direction of the Director of Practice Operations. The individual must be able to build productive relationships with interdisciplinary teams, facilitate change in complex clinical environments, develop practical solutions to implementation challenges, and recognize when issues require consultation, collaboration, or escalation. Success in this role requires the ability to influence without direct supervisory authority, foster trust across diverse stakeholder groups, and contribute effectively to a collaborative implementation team.
