What You Will Do:

Federal Financial Management Consultants support federal clients in improving budget and financial management operations by enhancing efficiency, modernizing processes through data analytics and AI-enabled tools, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. In this role, you will support client engagements by gathering requirements, designing and implementing solutions to address complex challenges, and improving processes to strengthen budget and financial effectiveness.

Specific

Responsibilities Include:

Collaborate with your project team and federal health clients to design and enhance budget and financial management processes across the full budget lifecycle

Support complex financial transformation efforts using best practices in process improvement, change management, and stakeholder engagement

Plan and support meetings and working sessions with stakeholders, including executive-level clients, to gather requirements, identify challenges, and drive alignment

Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to collect qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., interviews, focus groups, document and data reviews)
Analyze data to generate actionable insights that address complex financial management challenges and support client decision-making

Support the development of key deliverables, including analyses, reports, requirements documentation, SOPs, tools, templates, and dashboards

Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients, leadership, and diverse stakeholder groups

Deliver high-quality client service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members

Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

Leverage firm capabilities, methodologies, and solutions to enhance client delivery

Support internal initiatives and business development efforts, including proposals and communities of practice

What You Will Need:

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "NACI"; candidates with an ACTIVE NACI or SUITABILITY are preferred.

Bachelor's DegreeONE (1) or more years of relevant experience in finance and/or data analytics, with working knowledge of federal financial management processes (including budget lifecycle activities such as spend plan development, execution, closeout, and status of funds reporting)
What Would Be Nice To Have:

Experience supporting federal health organizations (e.g., CDC)
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to generate insights and implement process improvements

Experience designing new and re-engineering existing processes to meet evolving business needs

Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in fast-paced environments

Proven ability to break down complex client challenges into clear, actionable solutions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and create visually compelling materials

Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, identify needs, and deliver high-quality results while managing competing priorities

Proven collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Basic familiarity with AI tools to support efficient delivery
