• Domain expertise in Trust and Safety, policy development, or risk management within e-commerce, technology, or digital advertising.
• Strong working knowledge of global consumer safety regulations, product compliance, and consumer protection laws.
• High adaptability, with the capacity to execute and navigate complex boundaries in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to distill complex regulatory or policy issues into clear guidance for cross-functional partners.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right.

You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.

This role focuses on policy development for the Monetized team, part of the Trust and Safety, Global Policy and Standards team. As a Product Advisor, you will advise internal Google teams on core principles, design policies and standards to address abuse risks and enable responsible growth. You will engage with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders across Google to design thoughtful cross-Product Area approaches on key priorities.

You are a self-sustaining, critical thinker with sound judgment who has a passion for Internet policy and legal issues and a penchant for defining precise and scalable standards, especially in areas that are still evolving. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $164000 - $239000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
